On-time Payment Cash Back (new) |
| Customers who pay on time will receive 2.5% cash back. On-time means 25% paid at the time the order is placed and the other 75% paid on or before delivery. On-time payment requires either hard currency or a cheque in hand at the time the customer takes possession of the boat from the delivery agent. The cash-back bonus is awarded once the cheque clears the bank. No exceptions, I'm afraid. NOTE: Prices listed on sykesna.com INCLUDE the cash back pricing. In other words, when you receive the invoice, the price will be 2.5% higher. |

Boat Trial Option |
| Short-term trials usually last from
one day to a couple weeks (for used boats). The customer makes a 25%
fully-refundable bond payment on the boat, which also reserves the
boat for the customer until the trial. (Note: the cheque is cashed
and is refunded within 2 weeks of the return of the boat or credited
to the purchase price.)
Damage Liability. Trials automatically carry a damage/loss liable to $1,000 , which is pulled from the bond. The customer has the option to buy insurance from Sykes NA at 0.5% of the boat's value to cover all damage over $250. Insurance must be bought before picking up the boat. |

Rent-to-Own Boat Trial Option |
| Customers further afield or who want more time to trial a boat use this programme for terms typically of 3 months or less. The customer reserves the boat with a fully refundable 25% bond payment. (Note: the cheque is cashed and is refunded within 2 weeks of the return of the boat or credited toward the purchase price.) At the time of pick-up/delivery, the customer also pays a rental fee of 3.75% per month for the term of the rental. If the customer decides to purchase the boat, 100% of the rental fee is applied toward the purchase price. If the customer decides to buy a new Sykes other than the RTO boat, 50% of the RTO is applied toward the purchase price. Damage Liability. requires proof of insurance for the full value of the boat (the bond being used to cover the deductible). |

| Regatta
Boat Rentals |
| |
| One of the benefits to Sykes NA customers further afield in North America is that they can often rent boats from us for various important regattas. We've been doing this service for years, and are now offering 50% off for folks who own Sykes boats of the same boat class as the one they wish to rent. Regatta rentals are 3.0% of the boat's price for the whole regatta, no matter how long or short. Existing Sykes owners get the same boat for 1.5% of the boat's price. Transport outside of the Philadelphia area is an additional expense, but we do our best to keep that price at the actual costs we incur. |

Sykes NA offers payment plans for those customers who cannot or prefer not to pay cash for their boat on delivery. The payment plan is a service and so it's not quite like traditional financing. How it works is that the customer puts a down payment on the boat and then pays a service fee on the amount still owed. The service fee is calculated as a percentage, and that amount varies by the term of the payment plan. The customer then makes equal quarterly payments at the beginning of each quarter for the length of the term. For example: $15,000 boat with a $5,000 down payment. The customer chooses an 12-month payment plan for the remaining $10,000. The service fee is 3.55%, so the customer pays $355 along with the down payment on the boat. The customer will then pay $2,500 at the beginning of each of the next four quarters starting with the next quarter.

| Seasonal Rentals | |||
Rent a Sykes at 3.75% of the boat's price per month for as long as a season (three months). Rentals require a $1000 bond held toward covering damage as well as proof of insurance on the boat. You can buy insurance on the market or through us. Our insurance premium is 3% of the boat's price per six-month term for a $250 deductible (for a single incident). |

| New in 2012: Integrated Trial-Purchase Option | |||
Expires After June 2012 |
We've simplified our trial option and integrated them into our interest-free payment plan offer. Choose either a three-, six-, or twelve-month trial-purchase term by paying either 10%, 15%, or 25% of boat's list price. At the end of your term, you can either (1) buy the boat by paying the balance, (2) buy the boat by moving to our traditional payment plan, or (3) return the boat at no cost. There is no hitch. The only additional condition is to provide proof of insurance on the boat, insurance you can buy on the market or through us. Our insurance premium is 2% of the boat's price per six-month term for a $250 deductible. |
